This stylish & chic centrally-located apartment is a very short walk from the beach & even closer to the vibrant heart of St Kilda with all its shops, restaurants and amenities. Sleeping up to 4 with configurable bed options of 1 king bed & 2 singles or 2 king beds, this is a great choice for a couples break away, traveling with your kids, or for those that just want a little more space. Available with permit parking for one car in the local streets. Professionally managed, you're in safe hands.

The space

Located on the ground floor of an older-style small apartment block of 4 apartments, your apartment has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with plenty of room to relax and unwind or cook up a storm in the large kitchen.

The apartment comes with a combination washing machine/dryer for those needing to do laundry during their stay. A clothes rack is also provided for drying which can be placed in the apartment or on the back patio which has outdoor and covered areas.

Unusually for the area, this apartment comes with multiple bed cofiguration options. The main bedroom is a king bed only but the second bedroom can be supplied to guests as a second kind bed or two single beds. Not many apartments have this kind of flexibility. Please be aware though that for bookings made at short notice we may not be able to change the already-prepared bed configuration - if a certain configuration is important to your last minute stay, please send an enquiry rather than booking.

Off the second bedroom, you'll find a private and spacious back patio where you can enjoy the summer weather with late, light nights.

The bathroom features a walk in rainfall-type shower with additional seperate handheld shower head. Guests should note due to the design of the shower it is only suitable for a maximum height of 6 feet/183cm without having to bend. The toilet is located in its own seperate internal room.

There is no allocated parking with this property and but for guests who do want to bring a car we have a visitor parking permit for the local street parking areas. This is a busy area and spaces are in high demand so please be conscious that whilst you can park one car with the permit in permit-only locations, it may not be immediately outside the apartment. Proximity is one a first come, first saved basis but experience of the areas tell us that ordinarily, you should be able to park within a minute or two's walk from the front door.

This property is managed professionally by Holiday Rentals Australia so you can be assured your stay is in reliable and capable hands.

Bookings over Christmas and New Year's Eve both require a minimum 4 night stay, bookings made for less than this requirement will need to be cancelled.

The neighbourhood

Just 6km from the city centre, St Kilda is Melbourne’s seaside playground and is much-loved by residents and visitors. St Kilda is renowned for its expansive view of Port Phillip, safe sandy beach, palm-lined boardwalk, huge range of beach activities, big skies, gorgeous sunsets, parks and gardens, great restaurants, bars and cafés, fabulous old buildings, and its colourful past and present.

St Kilda is home to many of Melbourne’s famous visitor attractions including Luna Park, the Esplanade Hotel, Catani Gardens, Acland Street and Fitzroy Street. It is home to St Kilda beach, Melbourne’s most famous beach, several renowned theatres and several of Melbourne’s big events and festivals.

The main street in St Kilda is Fitzroy Street. It’s lined with outdoor pubs, cafes and restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisines showcasing Melbourne’s multicultural heritage.

The café society of Acland Street first bloomed with the influx of cosmopolitan European migrants in the 1950s. That heritage can still be seen in the European-style cake shops, cafes and designer shops that line the street.

Known as Melbourne’s beachside playground, St Kilda has long been a go-to destination for those in search of great food and drink. With so many cuisines to choose from, you’ll find every taste bud is satisfied with the array of options in this foodie paradise. Many of St Kilda’s eateries are located along Fitzroy St and Acland St, with a mix of moody wine bars, summery outdoor terraces, and fine dining restaurants, all located around Port Phillip Bay
