This well-appointed one-bedroom with sofa bed apartment in North Bondi, located opposite the beach, has stunning views over Bondi Beach with very comfortable accommodation for your stay and everything you need for up to 4 guests including a well-equipped kitchen, all bedding, towels and free Wifi. The space

A very spacious one bedroom open plan fully furnished apartment just metres from the beach. Capable of sleeping up to four adults with one queen size bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room.

This apartment has everything a holiday visitor may need and we try hard to keep it in a condition we would expect when renting a holiday apartment ourselves. Air conditioning is provided by two portable air conditioning units in the living room and bedroom which vent out through the windows to help keep the apartment cooler on warm days.

The bathroom has a large walk in shower as well as a laundry area with a washing machine. A large drying rack for clothes is provided. There is a washing machine in the apartment and additionally coin-operated washing machines and dryers in the communal laundry at the rear of the property.

This apartment has a segmented but open plan layout. The front door opens into the spacious bedroom area and from there you walk through into the living room which is seperated by a large, open archway. Although it hasn't been an issue in any way for previous guests we prefer to make it clear there is no closeable door between the living and bedroom spaces. The bathroom does of course have a door.

There is no parking with the apartment and all street parking in the area is time restricted to 1 or 2 hours before having to move your car during weekend working hours so we STRONGLY do not recommend guests come with cars. Parking spaces by the day may be available to rent in the area and for guests that must have a car we recommend checking parking rental websites such as Parkhound.

We need to advise prospective guests that a house directly adjacent to this building is being demolished and rebuilt between February 2024 and April 2025. The are other apartments between this one and the worksite however so we'd expect any noise levels to be reduced. During this time however, there may be some noise transmission Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 3pm. If you are coming to Bondi to be a tourist and expect to be out during the daytimes exploring the city, then this may well not effect you too much but we wanted to make guests aware in advance so they can make an informed decision before booking. We are also advised that between April and June 2024 the lobby and common areas in this building will be renovated but they are a relatively a small area and we don't expect this will cause major impact beyond minor inconvenience

Please note if your stay is to include the nights of Christmas or New Year's Eve a 5 night minimum stay is required.

We just make guests aware that the portable air conditioning units cannot be used overnight between the hours of 10pm and 7am due to council regulations. There is a fan available for cooling during that period however.

The neighbourhood

Lazy summer days seem to last all year at North Bondi.

Ben Buckler Point is the star attraction, with its expansive views down the coastline towards Maroubra. As impressive as the views and the houses are, the kids prefer a much more grounded outlook at Biddigal Reserve which has barbeque facilities on the grassy knoll and Wally Weekes Pool ocean pool.

Predominately a residential area bounded by golf courses that claim prime real estate and rugged coastline, North Bondi is about living in the great outdoors. Bondi Beach is a short stroll away with its enviable beach culture and a line-up of cafés, restaurants and bars. For those who prefer to stay closer to home, North Bondi has its own intimate bar and dining scene.

With neighbours like Bondi Junction and Rose Bay, locals have easy access to shopping centres that cater to the well-heeled and the surfie culture.
Drawing on the best of its neighbours, North Bondi is the epitome of urban coastal living.

Bookings over Chistmas require a minimum 5 night stay and New Year's Eve requires a minimum 4 night stay, bookings made for less than this requirement will need to be cancelled.

This is a quiet building and we expect all guests to be considerate of the neighbours. Please treat the apartment as your own but please no wild parties. We kindly ask guests to wash and put away all used items from the kitchen and leave any rubbish in the external rubbish area when they leave.

If you require use of the sofabed for your stay please book for 3 or 4 people to ensure the small additional cost for the bedding is included in your booking. Occupancy of one or two people is understood to just use the bedroom.

Prior to arrival, like staying in a hotel, we ask guests to fill in a registration form to ensure we have full contact details for them. This form also provides more information about the property and how to ensure you get a 5 star review.

Guest access

The building is situated in a prime position immediately over the road from the beach with clear views over the best parts of Bondi Beach. Shops, cafes and restaurants are either immediately outside the apartment or a very short walk away. Bus stops are nearby and we recommend using the NSW Trip Planner app to give you all the travel information you need to get around.

Interaction with guests

As a professional holiday rental agency we are available to answer any questions or help with any problems that crop up. Unlike part time casual owner-managers we do this for a living professionally, it is our core focus, we hold professional licences to do this and we are ALWAYS just a message away if you need us. You won't be left high and dry with us!

Other things to note

Please note this is strictly a no smoking apartment. From street level guests must climb stairs to the apartment as it is located on the first floor of a building with no lift.

All the apartments we manage come with a welcome letter and property information so you know how everything works to ensure you can get the most out of your stay. There is also a local map with some highlights such as the local supermarket, bus stops and train station plus maps of Sydney for those not familiar with the area. All bedding and towels (note one bath towel per person) are included along with beginner basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, bodywash and toilet paper to get you through the first few days.

If you require use of the sofa bed please book as minimum 3 guests (even if just 2 are staying) as there is an extra charge for the sofa bed bedding.

Prior to arrival we ask all guests to quickly fill in some contact information and tell them a little bit more about how we hope they'll look after the apartment. As we continue to improve the property over time the furniture and furnishings may change from those shown in the photos.
