The space

Located in an older building full of beautiful original features you'll find this charming two bedroom apartment with a spacious living/dining area, queen and double bedrooms plus a bonus reading room which is perfect for those of you who want a quiet, seperate space to have some alone time.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of the building but as the building is built up from street level you won't have prying eyes looking as they walk by.

The apartment is located just a short walk from the shops in central Randwick and just moments from the light rail tram that will take you past Randwick Racecourse and straight into the heart of the city. For this reason, it's a great location to explore from.

The bathroom has a shower over the bath and both bedrooms come with large built-in wardrobes with plenty of storage.

There is a built-in air-conditioning unit in the sun room which does a good job of cooling the apartment in summer. Being in an older building with thick walls, this apartment generally doesn't get too hot in the summer months but between the air conditioner and fans guests should be quite comfortable.

Please note there is no parking with the apartment and we recommend guests do not bring a car as parking is mostly time-restricted in the area. With the quality of local public transport, a car isn't needed as a default choice for those travelers unfamiliar with the city. For those people for whom a car is absolutely vital, some guests have had success renting a parking space on a daily basis through the Parkhound website from as little as $13 per day. Advance booking will be absolutely vital and will need to be something you organise yourself.

The neighbourhood

Historic yet dotted with modern elements, while both prestigious and trendy, Randwick in the eastern suburbs makes for one of the most interesting and eclectic suburbs in Sydney. Your average slice of wealthy and uneventful suburbia this is not; Randwick’s prime location and abundance of amenities make it a buzzing spot with a ton to see and do, and for multiple purposes – whether that be dining, shopping, sightseeing, or simply admiring its varied streetscape.

Randwick’s varied range of home styles and sizes are a living representation of the decades of Sydney’s evolution, often sitting side-by-side with one another. Meanwhile its multiple intersection-based hubs of cafes, restaurants & boutiques, sandstone and glass-made buildings and array of significant public spaces means there’s something new to see and do around almost every corner. It’s also increasingly well-connected via public transport services, is a stone’s throw from the beach, and largely safe.

This is a quiet building and we expect all guests to be considerate of the neighbours. Please treat the apartment as your own but please no wild parties. We kindly ask guests to wash and put away all used items from the kitchen and leave any rubbish in the external rubbish bins when they leave.

Prior to arrival, like staying in a hotel, we ask guests to fill in a registration form to ensure we have full contact details for them. This form also provides more information about the property and how to ensure you get a 5 star review.

Please note, guests are to sleep in beds only; using the sofa as a bed is not accepted. If it seems guests have used the sofa as an additional bed then furniture cleaning and sanitation charges will apply.

As a professional holiday rental agency we are available to answer any questions or help with any problems that crop up. Unlike part time casual owner-managers we do this for a living professionally, it is our core focus, we hold professional licences to do this and we are ALWAYS just a message away if you need us. Other things to note

Please note this is strictly a no smoking apartment. From street level guests must climb stairs to the building front door from street level as shown in the front entrance photos.

All the apartments we manage come with a welcome letter and property information so you know how everything works to ensure you can get the most out of your stay. There is also a local map with some highlights such as the local supermarket, bus stops and train station plus maps of Sydney for those not familiar with the area. All bedding and towels (note one bath towel per person) are included along with beginner basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, bodywash and toilet paper to get you through the first few days.

Prior to arrival we ask all guests to quickly fill in some contact information and tell them a little bit more about how we hope they'll look after the apartment.
