The space

Managed professionally by Holiday Rentals Australia, this luxurious apartment with high-end furnishings features an open plan living space with a large kitchen with breakfast bar, a separate dedicated dining area with seating for four and a comfortable lounge area with luxury leather sofa and large flatscreen tv.

Extending past this is the balcony which features wide-open views of the surrounding area to the east, south and west looking over Albert Park and Albert Park lake towards the beaches and the bay.

The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and large wardrobes for those needing extra storage during a longer stay. If you sit up in bed with your morning coffee you can see the beach and water of the bay in the not so far distance.

The apartment has a laundry with washing machine and dryer also. Communal facilities include a hot tub, a gym, a movie lounge and large rooftop spaces with eating areas.

This apartment comes with one allocated, in-building parking space that is free for guest use.

The neighbourhood

South Melbourne is one of Melbourne’s oldest suburban areas. It’s also one of the most sought-after suburbs to live in the Victorian capital due to its close proximity to both the CBD (two kilometres south) and Southbank, its plethora of highly rated restaurants, cafes and bars, and the enviable inner-city lifestyle it offers.

It also has some of the small, cobblestoned laneways that Melbourne is so loved for, to complement the broad, leafy streets in the area.

South Melbourne is popular with all ages, but young professionals and families in particular.

With distinct Victorian architecture, you’ll find a mix of classic terraced homes, cottages and new, high-end apartment complexes.

As this is a luxury building with discerning residents, the no party rule is strictly enforced and in the event any noise complaints are received as a result of guest actions the booking will be terminated immediately with guests expected to vacate there and then. . We kindly ask guests to wash and put away all used items from the kitchen and leave any rubbish in the rubbish room when they leave.

Prior to arrival, like staying in a hotel, we ask guests to fill in a registration form to ensure we have full contact details for them. This form also provides more information about the property and how to ensure you get a 5 star review.

Please note, guests are to sleep on beds only; using the sofa as a bed is not accepted. If it seems guests have used the sofa as an additional bed then furniture cleaning and sanitation charges will apply.

Guest access

Guests have full use of the apartment with the exception of the second bedroom which is locked for storage and not for guest use. No one else will be using the apartment.

Interaction with guests

As a professional holiday rental agency we are available to answer any questions or help with any problems that crop up. Unlike part-time casual owner-managers, we do this for a living professionally, it is our core focus, we hold professional licences to do this and we are ALWAYS just a message away if you need us. You won't be left high and dry with us!

All the apartments we manage come with a welcome letter and detailed information so you know how everything works to ensure you can get the most out of your stay. There is also a local map with some highlights such as the local supermarket and train station plus maps of Melbourne for those not familiar with the area. All bedding and towels are included for 2 people (note one bath towel per person) as booked along with beginner basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, bodywash and toilet paper to get you through the first few days.
