The space

The bedroom has a queen bed and the kitchen features everything you're likely to need for cooking when you're away from home. The separate bathroom has a walk-in shower and there is a washing machine and dryer in the apartment for guest use.

Unusually, the dividing wall between the bedroom can be closed or opened depending on your needs and preferences. Most guests leave it open for a greater feeling of spaciousness and ease of access into the living area.

Situated at the end of Clara Street, this building is close to Toorak Road and CHapel Street as well as being just a few minutes walk from the nearest shopping centre where you'll find shops like Woolworths, BWS, Priceline and Big W. South Yarra train station is also just five minutes walk away giving direct access to the city centre and other Melbourne suburbs.

Free wireless internet is included for guest use and all streaming services are available on the tv for you to log in with your own account.

Allocated underground parking is included for one vehicle. Height limit of 2.2m.

Bookings for Christmas and New Year's Eve require a minimum 4 night stay. Any instant-book bookings that do not comply with this will need to be cancelled.

The neighbourhood

South Yarra is one of Melbourne's oldest and most affluent inner-city suburbs, bordered by the Yarra River and Richmond to the north, Prahran to the south and Toorak to the east.

Shopping, fashion, dining and entertainment are the main features of South Yarra's extensive commercial precinct. Busy Chapel Street is lined with exclusive retail outlets, cafes, clubs, the popular Jam Factory entertainment complex, the Como Centre and Vogue Shopping Plaza. Commercial Road, which divides South Yarra from Prahran, is home to more retail shops, the Pran Central Shopping Centre and the iconic Prahran Market with its large selection of gourmet foods and fresh produce. Toorak Road is home to restaurants and many stylish fashion retailers featuring the best of local and imported goods.

Many of South Yarra's residential areas consist of attractive tree-lined streets. There are several historic mansions, including Como House which is open to the public, clusters of terrace houses and apartment buildings.

South Yarra has a large selection of open space and parkland for visitors and residents. The largest areas of parkland are along the Yarra River and also Fawkner Park along South Yarra's western boundary. Smaller parks, many with playgrounds, can be found dotted throughout the suburb.

The meandering Yarra River forms the northern boundary of South Yarra. The shady Alexandra Avenue follows the path of the river and beside it is the Capital City Trail walkway and bicycle track which is part of a 32 kilometre loop around Melbourne's inner suburbs. The Yarra River is lined by continuous parkland and panoramic views of the city and riverfront can be enjoyed from the several bridges which cross the river into Richmond, including Church Street Bridge, Hoddle Bridge at Punt Road and the pedestrian-only Morell Bridge.

Please note if your stay is to include the nights of Christmas Day or New Year's Eve a 4 night minimum stay is required. Any instant-book bookings that do not comply with this will need to be cancelled.

This is a quiet building and we expect all guests to be considerate of the neighbours. Please treat the apartment as your own but please no wild parties. We kindly ask guests to wash and put away all used items from the kitchen and leave any rubbish in the rubbish chute when they leave.

Prior to arrival, like staying in a hotel, we ask guests to fill in a registration form to ensure we have full contact details for them. This form also provides more information to ensure you can get a 5 star review for your stay.

Please note, guests are to sleep on beds only; using the sofa as a bed is not accepted. If it seems guests have used the sofa as an additional bed then furniture cleaning and sanitation charges will apply.

Guest access

Guests have full use of the apartment. No one else will be using the apartment.

Interaction with guests

As a professional holiday rental agency we are available to answer any questions or help with any problems that crop up. Unlike part time casual owner-managers we do this for a living professionally, it is our core focus, we hold professional licences to do this and we are ALWAYS just a message away if you need us. You won't be left high and dry with us!

Other things to note

As this is a luxury building with discerning residents the no party rule is strictly enforced and in the event any noise complaints are received as a result of guest actions the booking will be terminated immediately with guests expected to vacate there and then.

All the apartments we manage come with a welcome letter and detailed information so you know how everything works to ensure you can get the most out of your stay. All bedding and towels are included for 2 people as booked (note one bath towel per person) along with beginner basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, bodywash and toilet paper to get you through the first few days.

Prior to arrival, we ask all guests to quickly fill in some contact information and tell them a little bit more about how we hope they'll look after the apartment.
